Aaa, What's up Doc? - Kit Roberts Johnson

Aaa, What’s up Doc?

It took a while, but I finally did it. After a city slicker outfit was going to charge me $4,000 to load my book on Amazon, I said to myself, “Self, you are a special breed of Norwegian round-headed hare. Not only are you tight, are you smart. Keep the $4,000 and figure out how to do it yourself.”

Then a friend of mine, from the famous Alaskan jack-rabbit line, Jack Jackson (a likely name but real), who just loaded his book, Jazz Harmony Express, onto Amazon said he would help me. Of course, because he is so special, he is on a six-month cruise. He could help via email only. But he encouraged me and got me started.

Then I discovered that YouTube has every kind of tutorial on the subject.  Some videos, however, went too fast, some went too slow, and some were just right!

Finally, today after a jack rabbit start/stop learning curve, I loaded my book, Frozen Voices, A Speech Therapist’s Alaskan Memoir, onto Amazon all by myself!

Luckily, I’m married to the square-headed, Swedish hare, who can make book covers- one for the eKindle book and one for the paperback book. The e-book will go live shortly, the paperback will take a few more days to appear on amazon. I’ll send out the links when I get them.

Now, promoting the book and creating an audio book, will keep this round-headed, Norwegian wabbit busy during the cold winter days in San Luis Obispo, California.

That’s all folks!

I dood it!

    1. Thanks, Judy. I referred a woman to you today, looking for a singer for Christmas. People are still looking for our retired Trio!
